Today is March 18, 2008. In two days it will be five months since Brian passed away. The idea for a blog or web page for Brian came to me one day when I was searching the internet and put his name in the search engine. It came up with several hits, mostly to do with his work. The internet was a big part of Brian's life and it seemed fitting to continue his presence on the web. He did much of his professional work on the computer and he also did a lot of socializing and communicating on the internet.
I hope that Brian's family and others who knew him will feel free to comment, to share their thoughts and memories - as well as any others who feel moved by his life and legacy.

I found it hard to find what to say about a beginning. I hate the thought of moving past brian's death. But I realized that it doesn't have to be "moving past", but simply what happens after. I had my favorite painting of his put back on a frame and hung it in my living room. I took the smashed penny I found at the tracks and the rocks I found at the beach and put them in a display case with his picture; in memory of him. I've decided to take some time to myself to start painting again. I've always wanted to try painting with oils and so I'm going to. So, I guess this is my beginning.
